Terry came out to evaluate our bathroom ceiling fan which had a light failure and air exchange issues. He investigated the function, ventilation and wiring, and made an honest recommendation for our next steps. While he was there, he also took a look at our Radon removal system, to ensure that we had everything functioning correctly. Terry was timely, efficient, and knowledgeable. Terry tested our home for radon and found the results to be positive and at a number he was not comfortable just sending an email about. He wanted to to take the time to explain to me personally the results and next steps to take regarding installing a radon mitigation system. He even talked to a company to proceed.

While setting up the radon test, Terry's passion came through when he saw some past winter stains in our basement wall. His eye is on the ball!

Terry even had to return to our house 2 days past scheduled testing time because my daughter turned off the testing machine.

My wife and I had Terry perform a home inspection on a house we have been looking at. He answered all of our questions throughout the inspection process and then some! He was great with explaining any concerns he had, whether it was that the furnace was nearing the end of its life or any other issues, and also offered his opinion on what he would do in that situation.

We hired Terry for a home inspection and were beyond pleased with the service he provided. The home we are purchasing was built in 1940 and Terry had incredible knowledge of what to expect in a home that age. He pointed out the obvious issues that need to be corrected but also gave us suggestions on things to do and projects we may want to consider. He let us really lead the inspection and ask as many questions as we would like and he very patiently answered all of them. Terry definitely goes above and beyond the required duties of a home inspector. He was there at least 15 minutes before we arrived and climbed up on the roof to inspect the roof and chimney, which is something not required of home inspectors. One of the really great things about Terry's service is that the home we are buying had a pre-inspection done by another local home inspector and Terry was able to identify several things that need to be fixed (including two pretty significant issues) that had not been noted by the previous inspector. I really recommend Terry. His service is outstanding!
